Stayed here for one night to go hike at Akame Falls the next day. Wish we'd booked for longer! Amazing Showa style cafe and guest house, very complete living room (Famicon, comics, books, origami, board games, etc) and table tennis room. Complementary breakfast at the cafe was delicious (great coffee!) and they also have a well stocked fridge where you can purchase drinks. Close to shops, restaurants and station, free bicycle hire included. Host Yuuya was very kind and even gave us a ride to the Waterfalls, thank you! We'll definitely be back

Yuya is the most kind and gentle host. His neighborhood is cute, the japanese traditional house is amazing. He has a very attentive ear. His english is really good, i wish we had stayed longer. We did an onsen in the morning and went for a hiking trip at Akame Fall. He also share his bike for free for you to use around the small city. Its an amazing stay. Breakfast was lovely and light. Please, if you visit, take care of his surrounding, its a gem. The samurai armor is an actual one and it may have 100years old of history. I will remember this place forever !

Stayed here for a weekend to see the waterfalls, offered an amazing B&B experience in a traditional style Ryokan, free breakfast, great food and bar in the evening and extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Gave us free bike hire. Amazing offbeat place in a quiet town.

We stayed one night after the Akame 48 Waterfalls hike and it was the most wonderful experience. I cannot recomend this place enough as an airbnb, and the owner is the most generous and kind soul. I want to come back!
